ARTISTRY AT THE ORANGERY
Recently, Marble Cake Company had the pleasure of crafting a wedding cake for a beautiful styled shoot at the Euridge Orangery Manor in the Cotswolds.
The architecture and enchanting surroundings provided the perfect backdrop for our design. We wanted to create a cake that would entwine with the venue's beauty and compliment the overall aesthetic of the shoot.
We are continually captivated by sculptural forms and the avant-garde. Recently, when a piece of artistry caught our eye, we knew it would be the muse to inspire our latest creation for this styled session. We set out to recreate the sculpture using edible medium, envisioning a cake that would resonate seamlessly with the dreamy, candlelit atmosphere and light colour palette of the shoot.
The gentle candlelight provided soft, flickering glows that illuminated every curve and detail of the cake, casting shadows and highlights that brought the piece to life. The creamy hues of our cake and fabric installations by Mia Sylvia contrasted perfectly with the warmer tones of the florals by Grace Smith Florals and Sweet Williams Flowers.
Two separate couples were captured beautifully at this magical shoot by Kamila Nowak, and all of the dreamy, soft details and the cake were shot by Zahra Makda.
We proudly serve clients in Worcestershire, Herefordshire, Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, The Cotswolds, Bristol and London. You can check out our flavours by clicking here and you can contact us here to discuss how we can create wedding a cake for your special day.
